As a linguist and writer, Paula Marais is passionate about words. She has a Degree in Languages from the University of Cape Town, an Honours Degree in Publishing Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Diploma in Journalism from the Morris College of Journalism in London. With twelve years’ experience in marketing behind her, Paula has had work published in both South Africa and the United Kingdom, and has run successful projects and events throughout Europe and Southern Africa. Her other main interest is travel so she writes frequently about her latest destinations. David van Wijk has an Honours Degree in Environmental Science and has studied web development and project management. He has worked successfully as a project manager in the IT, Banking and construction industries. Dave is a talented web designer as well as an expert on business plans and strategy. Dave has extensive experience in web marketing and web strategy. Dave is also a talented and passionate photographer. |

Teri Glass has a BCom in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Johannesburg. She is an outgoing, creative woman with a love for words. Striking a balance is important, so while Teri enjoys playing with language and figures, she also enjoys boxing and going to gym. Her writing work has recently been published in Business Day, Indwe, Aboutime and South Africa Alive. Passionate about both reading and creating books, she has project managed the publishing of Putting the pebbles in first, White Knights, The Scourge Called Divorce, The Balm Called Faith, The Punishment and Curry Me Home. |

Leonie Duncan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Language Practitioners and an Honours Degree in Applied Linguistics, both from the University of Johannesburg. Leonie loves discovering and editing mistakes of the written word, and thrives in her editorial role at Logogog. She is happiest with either a good book or pen and paper in hand, while her other interests include correspondence, photography, enjoying life with her husband Richard and keeping in touch with her friends. Leonie is a member of PEG and has had her writing work published in The Saturday Star, Jozi Weekly and @Leisure. She is proud to have been involved in the editing of books such as Putting the pebbles in first, White Knights, The Scourge Called Divorce, The Balm Called Faith and especially Paula’s novel, The Punishment. |

Nabila Mayet is a published journalist with a degree from Wits University in Media Studies, Global Literature and Film and English Language. She also has an Honours degree in English Literature from UNISA. As a creative soul with a zest for life, she finds inspiration for a lot of her work through her personal experiences and surroundings. Being a journalist means that Nabila gets to meet and work with all sorts of different people and research a variety of subjects, which is something she particularly enjoys. Nabila is a confident communicator with an interest in publicity and growing our clients’ profiles. She has a keen interest in travel and loves a great book. |

Bulelwa Mfingwana has a Diploma in Journalism and Media Studies from the London Tower College in the UK. She has four years’ experience as an event co-ordinator and production assistant having worked on a wide variety of events in South Africa. Bulelwa has also had experience working for a newspaper in the UK as a journalist. She enjoys reading and would love to do more travelling as well as further her studies in project or event management. She finds inspiration from ordinary citizens and values a balance between her career and motherhood. |

Donna Morkel has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and Philosophy and an Honours Degree in English Language and Linguistics, all from Rhodes University. She also studied Fine Arts and has recently completed her Post Graduate teaching diploma at the University of the Witwatersrand. She is fascinated by the written and spoken word and enjoys analysing how language works as a grammatical system. Donna is an idealistic, organised perfectionist who always rises to meet a challenge. In her spare time she is an avid supporter of Greenpeace and loves fantasy novels and playing Scrabble. She has dabbled in teaching, training and administration, and is now excited to be joining Logogog to broaden her sphere of knowledge and experience. |

Rebecca Eb obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Media Studies at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. She is currently completing her Honours in Publishing Studies at the University of Witwatersrand, having moved to Johannesburg to pursue publishing. She has always held a fascination for the written word and the way in which it can be manipulated and moulded. A self-confessed perfectionist, Rebecca has her heart set on the world of editing and hopes to keep the art of the written word alive. Her hobbies include reading, writing, music, the outdoors, and environmental conservation. She has worked briefly in a large publishing house, gaining invaluable experience, and is now thrilled to join the Logogog team in perfecting written works of all kinds. |
