International Standard Book Number
Every book needs an ISBN number, and our service involves securing this for you.

Barcode
Along with your book’s ISBN, we will organise the required barcode for you.

Legalities and Copyright
Your work remains entirely yours, and we will take care of the copyright. Logogog can create a custom copyright page that takes into account whether or not your book has been designed with specific sections that may be reproduced. We also ensure that copies of your work are delivered to the relevant legal deposit libraries, as required by law.

Design Elements
We are able to provide advice on all aspects of the design of your book, including the cover artwork, ideal book size, most suitable paper choices and most attractive font to typeset the book in. We can also arrange for themed items to accompany the book, including: PowerPoint slides, bookmarks, pens and even T-shirts and signage.

Editing
We pride ourselves on beautifully executed creations of the written word, and can offer you exceptional editing and proofreading services for your manuscript. Please see the relevant section for more on our editing services.

Proofreading
Once your book has been fully typeset and the design is complete, we can proof your book before it goes to print.

Final Mock-Up
We will provide you with a mock-up of what your finished product should look like in print.

The Printing Process
We will print the quantity of books you choose, bearing in mind that the greater the number of books you print at once, the lower your costs. Printing also involves correct trimming and binding of your book.

Safety and Storage
We are able to keep a copy of your book for safety purposes, usually in pdf format.

Images
We are able to source photographs and images for your book if you have not provided your own. If you require specific images, please send us a detailed list of the artwork required. If necessary we can commission and brief the photographers, illustrators and designers.

Project Management for Books
Logogog’s team can efficiently manage the entire process of your book’s printing, publication and delivery. With more than twelve years’ experience in project management, Logogog director Paula Marais has experience as varied as arranging conferences for two thousand people in Barcelona to assisting the publishing process to unfold, so no job is too big or too small.
